CEMO Pumps (Pty) Ltd is a South African based private manufacturing company with the most comprehensive range of pump types in Africa. The company was formed in 1957 as the Crown Group of Companies (Pty) Ltd and has been supplying both the African and international markets with pumps and spares for over 50 years.

Our pump range includes helical rotor (progressive cavity) pumps, multistage mine dewatering centrifugal pumps, high pressure plunger pumps and mud pumps. Our manufacturing plant is based in Johannesburg covering an area of over 20000m² housing machine shops, fabrication areas, assembly areas, foundry, stores and pump test bay facilities. All pumps and spares are manufactured in house thus giving CEMO Pumps (Pty) Ltd the unequalled advantage of being able to supply a quality engineered product, at competitive prices within a realistic delivery period.

Machining facilities include CNC lathes, machining centers, vertical and horizontal boring mills, conventional turning, milling, drilling, and gear cutting machines. All pump products carry either the CEMO or CROWN branding. All raw materials for the finished product are supplied by approved quality suppliers. CEMO Pumps hold an ISO 9001:2015 internationally recognized quality certificate.

Staff compliment consists of 170 including artisans, administration staff as well as a dedicated team of engineers responsible for both design and development of existing and new pump products. Our technical division is available to consult, resolve or advise on issues which may arise within our scope of supply. Turnkey pumping projects including custom pump builds are catered for to suit the customer's exact requirements. Export markets include Africa, Australia, South East Asia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and United States of America.
